Interview with H.E Mr. Niankoro Yeah Samake, the Ambassador of Mali to India.
TOA interacted with H.E Mr. Niankoro Yeah Samake, regarding the 12th CII-Exim Bank Conclave. Here are some of the excerpts of the discussion with him:
The 12th CII-Exim Bank Conclave on India-Africa Project Partnership aims to give a new strategic direction to India-Africa economic relations. In what way do you think Mali will benefit from this forum?
This is a major investment forum between India and Africa. This Conclave will surely be beneficial for Mali as it has proved its capability through the prospects of business and trade partnerships between India and the African countries. Mali will surely get benefit by engaging directly and learning from India’s experience. We have some important delegations from government as well as from the private sector, visiting India for the conclave. The purpose of this visit is to engage with the Indian government through bilateral, B2B meetings and the government meetings. We are expecting to meet more than 30 business delegations. We have the Minister of Promotion of investment in the private sector, coming to India. He’s here to showcase the vast opportunities that Mali has for India.
According to you, what are the steps that India can take to create a more conducive environment for doing business?
