Costa Rica is a beautiful country in Central America nestled between Nicaragua and Panama. In general, there’s no real bad time to visit the place. There may be more tourists from December to April, but it is the rest of the year when the country’s greens really start popping. Here the weather doesn’t really play any set of rules. Costa Rica’s capital San Jose’s Central Valley maybe 72 degrees with a breeze, whereas the highlands will be much cooler. The areas in the Northern Plains – the Nicoya Peninsula and Guanacaste, will be drier and hot.
