Greetings! I am delighted to be joining the BONA family as your new personal finance contributor. I am a chartered accountant and business analyst. One of my passions is making issues around the economy and money accessible, so I’m excited to unpack money topics that matter to us. It is now for anybody with the necessary time and skills. In 2020, it has expanded outside the realm of creatives, such as jobs in advertising, media and entertainment. You can now find freelancers in almost every area of expertise including HR managers, lawyers, teachers, doctors, nurses, etc. Management consultant, Siphe Kala, explains some of the benefits.
The ability to choose clients and projects.
The option to work anywhere and at any time, as well as choosing your own working hours.
The opportunity to increase your earning potential because freelancers can charge slightly higher rates.
The ability to increase your network.
Being able to refine your skills as a professional. Although freelancing has many perks, it also has some challenges. And, whether it’s your main source of income or a side gig, these tips can ensure that you become financially stable.
