I’VE BEEN IN SHOW BUSINESS FOR A LONG TIME IN one way or another. I’ve been an actor looking for jobs, which is the primary job of an actor unless you are either very talented or have a remarkable head of hair. I’ve been a playwright, which is maybe the most fun job of all, because when your play is going well you can walk around in the lobby and hear the audience laughing. I’ve even had a book of mine optioned by a famous actor and sat in his conference room talking about stuff while he made everybody in attendance the espresso drink of his or her choice. That may have been the height of my career. That little cup of coffee.
