SIDDHARTH MENON’S LOVIN’ THE ATTENTION FROM GUYS POST HIS HOMOSEXUAL ROMANCE LOEV, FINDS RAGHUVENDRA SINGH
Siddharth Menon played a bold and sensitive role in the gay love story Loev, written and directed by Sudhanshu Saria. The film stars Dhruv Ganesh (he passed away before the film released) and Shiv Pandit in the main leads. The two discover their relationship during a weekend getaway. The role of Alex, someone who’s also integral to this same sex romance, played by Siddharth.
Understandably, he has been getting lots of compliments from guys for his role. “Boys are sending me messages like ‘your body is too good’, ‘you look hot’ and ‘I love you’ on Instagram and Facebook,” laughs a flattered Siddharth. “I enjoy any kind of attention. Why should we hold a bias towards male or female attention? I take it as love and I love it,” he says. Somewhere the LGBT community connected to Loev and to the characters of Sahil (Dhruv Ganesh), Jai (Shiv Pandit) and Alex because it represented them well. “The film has touched people,” he claims.
