What made you leave your cushy bank job to be a pastry chef? My elder brother has a sweet tooth. His travels have exposed him to the world’s finest chocolates and desserts. He was aware of the lack of quality products in the Indian market. I tried to make those similar type of chocolates for his friends and him. They loved them. As my skills polished further, my brother suggested I quit my job and take up baking professionally.

Perhaps, he saw potential in me as a pastry chef. It was a decision between choosing something risky and doing what you love or staying in a comfort zone. I didn’t want to have any regrets in life and so went ahead. It’s true that ‘magic happens outside of your comfort zone’.
