COUNTRY royalty Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are locked in a no-holds-barred showdown over whether she should tag along on his upcoming solo concert tour — leaving friends fearing their already shaky marriage is now on the road to the chopping block!

Insiders note that while Tim and Faith, both 52, had their children to cement their marriage in the past, daughters Gracie, 22, and Maggie, 21, are grown, and Audrey, 17, is about to graduate high school and leave them with an empty nest.

“Tim and Faith have been on the brink of splitting up several times, but they’ve always managed to pull it together for the sake of their family,” a friend snitches.
