Judge Judy didn’t offer bailiff Byrd job on new show after 25 years as TV team

COLDHEARTED Judge Judy Sheindlin blindsided TV bailiff Petri Hawkins-Byrd after 25 years of devoted service by freezing him out of her new streaming show, Judy Justice — without even a courtesy phone call.

Instead, the 79-year-old TV jurist issued an icy statement saying: “Byrd is terrific and we had a great 25-year run. This is a whole new program with a whole new cast and an exciting energy.”

Now, in a world exclusive interview, 63-year-old Byrd tells GLOBE penny-pinching Judy, who rakes in a whopping $47 million a year as one of the highest paid stars on TV and is worth a mind-blowing $440 million, had the nerve to tell him he made too much money for the new gig.
