The 61-year-old TV tough guy started studying the sci-fi religion in 1994, but decided to leave the church in 2007 — and believes his high-profile gig on the hit NBC series has prompted unrelenting attacks against him!
“It’s not just that they want you to fail. It’s kind of like they want you to die,” Jason told Scientology watchdog, Tony Ortega.
“The entire Scientology mythology is that if you leave the church you go on to fail,” he’s said. “But I’ve quadrupled my income. I’m hotter than I’ve ever been. And it’s killing them!”
Scientology insiders agree Jason remains a prime target.
