Alexandra Burke is “grieving all over again”, a source claims, after the pregnant singer admitted she’s feeling “very lost” without her mum.
The 33-year-old is expecting her first child with boyfriend Darren Randolph but opened up about missing her mother, Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell, as she paid tribute to her on what would have been her birthday.
Melissa passed away in 2017, aged 53, after suffering with diabetes and kidney ailments.
And last week, The X Factor winner Alexandra posted a heartbreaking message.
She wrote, “Now more than ever I need you the most… I’m still very lost without you.
“But I know you’re in a better place. I love you mummy, Happy heavenly birthday. You’re my [world].”
A source claimed Alexandra is finding her pregnancy “bittersweet” as she prepares to welcome her first child without her mum by her side.
