Marnie Simpson has been left devastated after cancelling her summer wedding to fiancé Casey Johnson, a source has told us.
“Marnie planned her wedding for this August and even sent out invites,” the source revealed. “She had already booked the venue, started organising her wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, cakes and flowers. But with the Covid restrictions not being lifted in time, she’s decided to put it off until next year.”
Opening up to us in May about her dream wedding, the 29-year-old gushed that she had found their dream venue and revealed the guestlist would include former Geordie Shore stars Charlotte Crosby, Chloe Ferry, Sophie Kasaei, Nathan Henry, Holly Hagan and Bethan Kershaw.
But our source said Marnie’s biggest dream is for a fun and laid-back wedding and she’s now determined to wait until her day can go ahead without a hitch.
