Former WAG Lizzie Cundy reveals the highs and lows of mingling with Hollywood’s biggest names and what really happened between her and the Duchess of Sussex

Lizzie Cundy is not short of a juicy celeb story or two, having rubbed shoulders with the A-list at showbiz parties for years.

So I was thrilled to catch up with the TV presenter and former WAG to ask about some of the best and worst moments she’s had grilling Hollywood stars on the red carpet – and she didn’t hold back!

Candid Lizzie, 52, laughs while telling me about her about meeting with “rude” Bruce Willis and going on a dinner date with the “lovely” Tom Cruise.

Lizzie has been in the spotlight since 1990 when she met her now ex-husband, former footballer Jason Cundy. The pair married in 1994 and had two children, Josh, now 25, and James, 20, before divorcing 10 years ago.

Last October, Lizzie’s personal life hit headlines again when she split from millionaire businessman Jeremy Gordeno after dating for 10 months – so it’s no surprise when she tells me she’s thinking about changing her type. Lolz!

And while no glitzy showbiz bash is complete without Lizzie, she tells me she’s enjoyed being cooped up during lockdown.

“The first week I was having palpitations,” she jokes. “I’m never home, Bobs. But I actually really liked it and got into it. It made me reflect a lot and it has made people realise what they want and don’t want in life.”
