Vernon Kay is about to be on our screens every night for the next three weeks on I’m A Celebrity. And it’s not just fans who are calling this his big TV comeback – his wife Tess Daly is, too.
Insiders close to the couple have told new that Tess, 51, has everything crossed that Vernon’s rumoured £250,000 deal could see him being crowned King of the Castle, leading to more TV work in the future.
“Tess is so excited for Vernon,” our insider revealed. “She’s always saying how he’s such a wonderful presenter, but has lost his confidence due to career knockbacks.”
