Geordie Shore star Bethan Kershaw talks online abuse and why she’s finally enjoying filming the reality show

Ever since she joined Geordie Shore back in 2019, Bethan Kershaw has been making a big impression.

From her friendship with her bestie Chloe Ferry to her explosive relationship with former co-star ex Beau Brennan, Bethan has certainly cemented herself as a stand-out member of the cast.

And when I catch up with the 26-year-old she’s about to head to London to celebrate fellow reality TV star Sophie Kasaei’s 32nd birthday.

“I’m really close to Sophie,” she tells me.

“She is the funniest person on the planet and I think she needs more recognition for it!”

Bethan also opens up about where she stands with my former TOWIE co-star Demi Sims and their on/off relationship after the pair were pictured locking lips again last month.

Hi, Bethan! Are you making the most of your break from filming Geordie Shore?

Yeah, when I get my down time I’m working on other things. I’ve filmed a TV show, I can’t talk about it, but it’s a brand new show and I’m really excited. The last few series of Geordie Shore I had a bit of a bad time. I was with my ex and you know what it’s like when you’re in a relationship and you’re hurt. I didn’t 100% enjoy it, but the most recent series was my favourite. I was single and I just loved it. I can’t think of one day where I was upset, hurt or anxious.

Is there ever competitiveness between the girls on the show?
