Following his I’m A Celeb success, pals reveal Vernon Kay has a new perspective on family life and has his work mojo back

He may not have bagged the title of Castle King on this year’s I’m A Celebrity, but Vernon Kay won something much more important. new can reveal that his time on the show, away from his wife, Strictly co-host Tess Daly, and their two daughters, has given him a whole new outlook.

“Vernon’s realised he took Tess for granted,” our source claimed. “He’s realised what he has in Tess and their family and the time apart has made him really value them even more.”

Vernon was apparently hoping his time in camp would boost his career, but it seems it’s also done his personal life the world of good, too. Our source claimed, “He’s had a few knock backs on the work side of things and it was affecting their relationship.

“Tess is on one of the biggest shows with the biggest ratings in the country and the cracks were starting to show a bit. But being away from her and the family has made him really appreciate her.”
