From her bizarre body rituals to the latest fad diet she’s testing, Gwyneth Paltrow has never shied away from sharing her take – no matter how personal it may be. (Who can forget those jade eggs!)

But when it comes to her kids, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with ex Chris Martin, the Goop founder, 46, has tended to stay quiet – until now.

As her children grow up – and since becoming a step-mum to new hubby Brad Falchuck’s kids Brody and Isabella – Gwyneth’s found that her views on motherhood are constantly evolving. ‘You can f--- it up,’ she admits. ‘It’s really an art to be a parent.’ For the Iron Man star, that’s true now more than ever. ‘It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing,’ she candidly explains.

THE TERRIBLE TEENS

She may be one of the biggest stars on the planet, but these days Gwyn is just your average embarrassing mum at home.

‘I’m mortifying. I’m the most embarrassing person all of a sudden,’ confesses the Oscar winner, adding that her daughter Apple is far from impressed. ‘If I do anything silly at all in public, the colour drains from [her] face,’ Gwyn shares.

Apple’s especially unimpressed by her mother’s daggy dance moves! ‘We walked into a store the other day, and there was a really great song playing, and she just looked at me and she was like,“Don’t even think about it.” I’m like, “OK, sorry, got it.”’
