Summer might be drawing to a close but the sunshine is set to stay with the welcome return of Holly Willoughby to our TV screens. The nation’s sweetheart is back with a bang (and a giggle, no doubt) alongside her This Morning co-star and forever BF Phillip Schofield.
The duo hosted the ITV show and kept us all entertained throughout lockdown – Holly driving herself in, doing her own hair and make-up and even ironing her own clothes before going on air.
In July, the pair took a well-earned break from their Monday to Thursday schedule, Holly and her family spending the holidays in the Algarve. But she was forced to cut her Portuguese vacation short in order to quarantine at her London home for the past two weeks. However, the 39-year-old revealed in an Instagram selfie that she’s been “rockin’ and rechargin’” with the aid of some crystal healing, wearing an amethyst aura amulet necklace gifted by a friend.
Holly is currently celebrating two decades on TV, after making her debut on an S Club 7 TV show. But far from slowing down to enjoy the fruits of her success, she’s all set to have her strongest year yet.
Speculation that she’s quitting This Morning has been swiftly quashed by her bosses. It’s since been revealed the rumours were sparked by her move to set up Roxy Management with her sister Kelly. Holly will not only manage herself, but she’ll be surrounded by an all-female team. Now that’s girl power!
Holly has always remained humbled by her success, admitting, “I actually can’t believe how things have turned out for me. I never expected to be in a position like this and I certainly never planned it.”
