WHY GO?
Riviera Maya in Mexico is a stunning stretch of tropical coastline running from the south of Cancún to Tulum and the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. The beaches offer amazing views of the Caribbean Sea and with the golden sands, turquoise waters and rich wildlife, it’s an Instagrammer’s paradise.
There are so many ways to experience the relaxed boho Mexican vibe, including drinking tequila at sundown and watching pelicans diving for their breakfast. The more adventurous can snorkel in the coral reefs, swim with sea turtles, take a speedboat trip, visit walled city ruins, hang out where the celebs holiday in eco-chic Tulum (a fave with Jennifer Aniston and Michelle Keegan) or shop in Playa Del Carmen on 5th Avenue. It’s an idyllic destination for honeymooners or those simply wishing to spend some child-free quality time.

TUI Blue El Dorado Seaside Suites close to Playa Del Carmen is an 18s-and-over, gourmet-inclusive hotel on a peaceful stretch of beach you can stroll along for miles. Each room has a whirlpool bath, while some suites have direct access to the “lazy river”.
