Joining him, Kym Marsh and Rav Wilding are Kimberley Walsh, Sara Cox and Sam Quek.
“I’m looking forward to working with Kym again,” says Gethin. “But each and every one of my co-hosts brings something different to the show. I’m lucky to be able to present alongside some fantastic, strong, independent, funny women – and we all get along really well.
“I’m very excited to go back and be sat next to a ‘Northern powerhouse’ of a woman every day.”
Here, we catch up with Gethin and one of his new co-hosts, Olympic gold medal-winning hockey star Sam, ahead of the show’s big move…
SAM QUEK
Liverpool-born sporting superstar Sam has become a fixture on our screens in recent months after landing her role as a team captain on Question Of Sport and working on the Olympic Breakfast show alongside Dan Walker.
And we’re pleased to report that this week marks the start of us seeing a whole lot more of her as she kicks off her cohosting duties on Morning Live.
During her exclusive interview with OK!, mum-to-be Sam, 33, opens up about how much it means to her to be able to work in the North West. “I can wake up in my own house with my family and be in the studio in under an hour,” she tells us.
