Author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher is known for her honesty when it comes to talking about motherhood and family life. And it’s no different when OK! catches up with her on the phone while she’s out walking with her young family.
“It’s been chaotic at home,” laughs the 35-year-old, who has three children – Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and Max, who turns two in August – with her husband, McFly’s Tom Fletcher. “It’s had its highs and lows, but we also know we’re incredibly lucky.”
As well as looking after her brood, Giovanna has had plenty to keep her busy during this time. Aside from recording her podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby, she’s been filming her CBeebies show The Baby Club from home, working on the third novel she’s writing with Tom, 34, and teaming up with her close friend Emma Willis to launch their charity campaign, Be My Guest.
Here, Giovanna tells us about her “surreal” experience interviewing the Duchess of Cambridge, and why Buzz could be following in his musician dad’s footsteps…
How has life been at home?
It feels like it’s go, go, go all the time. We’ve learned a lot about each other, like how people like to do certain things and the best way to approach things as the kids are all so different. It’s been interesting!
