As Emily and Peter Andre approach their 10-year anniversary in July, they are preparing to rejuvenate their romance. The couple have been balancing their blended family of six with demanding work schedules, and are hatching a plan for more alone time - by recruiting Junior and Princess as babysitters.
"We're getting to the age now where the older two will be able to babysit the younger two," says Emily, as we catch up at the launch of her new book, Growing Up For Boys. "It's difficult with four kids, but we try to explain that it's important for Mum and Dad to have time together, too."
The secret to their decade-long love is a shared belief in the importance of family. It was one of the things that attracted Emily to Pete when they first met in 2010. Pete was on tour and needed emergency surgery for kidney stones. His doctor was Dr. Ruaraidh MacDonagh - Emily's dad.
The couple swapped vows in 2015 after welcoming daughter Millie the year before, and had son Theo in November 2016.
Ever since, they have figured out how to make love work, no matter where their careers have taken them. Pete is currently starring in West End musical Grease six nights a week, leaving for work just as Emily is finishing her shift as an NHS doctor. He has also been filming in Jamaica.
