It was undoubtedly the showbiz celebration of the year – and OK! was honoured to be invited to join Dame Joan Collins and Percy Gibson as they marked their 20th wedding anniversary with a spectacular star-studded party at Claridge’s.

Two decades after we exclusively covered their nuptials at the same hotel, the iconic actress and her beloved husband took us back to where it all started, choosing to mark their china anniversary at the same venue and with many of the same guests in attendance.

“It was fabulous,” a radiant Joan recalls as we catch up with them for a debrief a few days after the event, held on 17 February. “It was a perfect night.” The couple opted for an Art Deco-themed white-tie party that paid homage to the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Joan was looking sensational in a silver Jenny Packham gown, decorated with her Damehood Grand Cross – something the couple also encouraged other esteemed guests to do.

Old friends joined them, as they did in 2002, including Christopher Biggins, the Delevingne family, jewellery designer Theo Fennell, his wife Louise and their daughter, Oscar-winning screenwriter Emerald.
