The past eight months have been a strange and challenging time for the whole country, but for Ronan Keating – who welcomed his adorable daughter Coco with wife Storm just four days into lockdown – it had its considerable highs as well as its lows.
Despite having his hands full, the 43-year old says he was grateful for being able to spend every day with his baby girl, who was born on 27 March. “She’s a bundle of joy,” he gushes. “She’s a gorgeous little child.”
As well as getting into the swing of looking after a newborn again, the former Boyzone singer – also dad to three-year-old son Cooper with fashion designer Storm, 39, along with son Jack, 21, and daughters Missy, 19, and Ali, 15, from his marriage to Yvonne Connolly – has been working on new music.
In July he celebrated 20 years as a solo artist with the release of his album Twenty Twenty and is now busy promoting his new single Forever Ain’t Enough. His secret to success? “There have been good times and bad times,” he confesses. “It’s not always a bed of roses – you’ve got to take the good with the bad and keep going.”
Here, Ronan opens up to OK! about being a dad, spending precious time with Storm and the secret to a happy marriage…
