After all the gloom of 2020, it’s so lovely to catch up with Kimberley Walsh and discuss some news that has brightened up her year – she’s pregnant with her third child!
The 39-year-old, who already has sons Bobby, six, and Cole, four, with hubby Justin Scott, 38, simply cannot hide her excitement when we speak before OK!’s exclusive pregnancy reveal shoot at her London home.
And it quickly becomes clear the whole family are over the moon about welcoming another little one next year.
“For the family, it’s been a bit of light in the distance and something to look towards and get excited about, and plan for,” Kimberley tells us.
And the former Girls Aloud star, who is 15 weeks pregnant when we chat, says her bump is already showing!
“Because it’s my third it’s going to pop out a little bit quicker,” she says. “And I do tend to have quite big bumps.”
Kimberley’s pregnancy has been pretty smooth so far with only mild morning sickness to trouble her. But, as with everything in our lives right now, the pandemic has disrupted the family’s happy time.
Sadly, Justin couldn’t be with Kimberley for the 12-week scan because he had to look after the boys, who were forced to self-isolate due to a coronavirus outbreak at their school. Luckily, her mum was on hand to step in for the special moment – but she says Justin was upset at missing out.
