When news broke of Stephen Nichols’s [Steve] return to DAYS, I must admit, I didn’t believe it — I couldn’t. Even when I saw your magazine cover, I was still hesitant. It had been such a long and emotional year of tweeting, writing and pleading for his return. There were times we thought it was happening, only to be crushed with disappointing reality. To say I was skeptical is an understatement. But gradually, with a guarded heart, I let myself believe it was possible. And then Stephen himself announced he was returning, and I knew without a doubt, the fight was won! I’m beyond thankful that Steve will soon be back in Salem and Stephen’s talent will again be on display for his fans to enjoy. He’s been missed very much. November is still a long time away, but there’s a light at the end of what’s been a very dark tunnel for Steve and Kayla fans!! Welcome home, Patch!
