THEY say a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one spoke volumes about lovebirds Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. On July 6, she updated her Twitter icon to a photo of her and Blake, sweetly kissing cheek to cheek. It looks like the duo’s romance is off the charts — but now the question is, when will Blake pop the question?

Outside of his blood family, no one knows Blake better than Carol Large, who was his surrogate mom while he was growing up in Ada, Okla., and who, along with her husband, Larry, helped set him on the path to country super stardom. Now, in an exclusive interview with Star, Carol says that after two divorces and a ton of heartbreak, Blake has at long last found his soul mate — and that he should put a ring on it and seal the deal. “He’s the happiest he’s ever been, and I think Gwen would make a great wife for him,” Carol says. “I really think she is The One!”
