JONATHAN Scott, the star, along with twin brother Drew, of HGTV’s smash reality series Property Brothers, describes himself as “an open book and very honest about every aspect of my life.” But when it comes to the story behind his mystery ex-wife, their failed marriage and the aftermath of their divorce, sources tell Star exclusively Jonathan, 39, has been anything but honest in their new memoir, It Takes Two: Our Story.

Of his 2007 marriage in their native Canada to an airline-crew scheduler named Kelsy (they relocated to Las Vegas together after tying the knot), Jonathan says, “We were young, and there was a rush going into it. You can have two good people who are just not good for each other.” When they split after just two years, he adds, “I was pretty defeated.... I really didn’t go out for six months after my divorce.”

But the truth is that Jonathan blindsided his wife by filing for divorce; began dating an exotic dancer long before the split was finalized; then cheated on his new girlfriend before dumping her!
