Millicent uses every trick in the book to ruin Makwande and Esther’s romance.

The world is crumbling at the feet of soccer star Makwande (Anga Makubalo). He was recently dropped by an international football team after he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy – a rare heart muscle condition that prevents him from playing the sport to his full physical potential. Rather than tell his girlfriend Esther (Didintle Khunou), he confides in her social media influencer bestie Millicent (Natasha Tahane).

“Not that Esther has given him any reason to believe that she’s only dating him for his fame, but Makwande is convinced she’ll dump him if he’s no longer a celebrity athlete. He’s insecure,” explains Anga. With the secret eating Makwande up inside, he starts to distances himself from Esther while at the same time bonding with Millicent, which is a bad idea as the influencer wants Makwande herself.
