Now, as the gorgeous bub turns 1, amid the current coronavirus restrictions, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had to shelve plans for a star-studded birthday party in favour of a small celebration with just the three of them. “It’s a shame, because Archie’s birthday, without the lockdown, offered the perfect opportunity to host a welcome to LA bash for them and their friends,” a source revealed, adding that celebs including James Corden, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, Serena Williams, Elton John and George and Amal Clooney all made the invite list before the shindig was cancelled.
