The reunited couple go public on a loved-up date night

Wandering into a Los Angeles restaurant with their arms wrapped around each other, this tender moment between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez could’ve been mistaken for days gone by – a flashback to 2003 when the pair were madly in love and engaged to be married.

But the dinner date on May 31 was very much in the here and now, with the couple clearly having fallen back into their loved-up old ways. “The magic is still there,” an insider recently told InTouch of the pair. “And they picked up right where they left off 17 years ago.”

The pair have had fans in a frenzy since they reunited back in late April and their recent romantic display did little to quell the hysteria. Hands fixed firmly around each other, Lopez, 51, leaned into her actor beau, 48, in their first public display of affection since Affleck was caught visiting the singer at her Los Angeles home – just days after she confirmed her split with ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez.

While the couple attempted to keep their reconciliation on the down low at the start, things between Affleck and Lopez have gotten more serious by the day. “The more they see each other, the harder it is to stay apart,” another source told Star. “The attraction between them is just so electric, it’s proving impossible for them to spend more than two or three days away from each other.”
