Boozing TV legend falls over & hits his head — 14 years AFTER being crippled in DUI wreck
FORMER TV hunk Robert Conrad has suffered a shocking public humiliation, falling on his face after boozing in a Malibu bar — and being caught on camera!
During a killer May 8 binge, the DUI crash-crippled 82-year-old actor, who played secret agent James West in the hit ’60s spy series The Wild, Wild West, knocked back a margarita and wine. He could barely walk, sat on a bench outside the saloon’s front door— then fell, banging his head on the concrete!
It took three burly witnesses to lift his sagging body from the pavement! But when the star first arrived with an aide — at 3 p.m. — there was little drama.
“All the waiters came over to hug him and say hello and he was instantly served a margarita,” says a spy.
“He was asking his assistant for more booze as soon as he finished. She refused to get it, reminding him about his medication.
“But as soon as she left to run some errands, he put his arm up and the bartender brought him a chardonnay.”
The graying star began chatting up two young women at an adjoining table. A witness says his speech was so slurred the gals couldn’t understand him.
