Nichelle Nichols’ son wants mom declared mentally unfit – but manager says she’s fine
In an explosive lawsuit, the 85-year-old actress’ son Kyle Johnson charges his mom — who became TV’s first African-American sex symbol as a sexy communications officer on the Starship Enterprise — is being used as a cash cow by greedy hangers-on who are preying on her dementia.
But her longtime manager Gilbert Bell claims Kyle is trying to lock away his mom in a nursing home so he can get his hands on her money and sell off her property!
“Kyle has been trying to put her in a nursing home for eight years now!” Bell tells GLOBE. “He wants to put her away and sell her home.”
Bell says the actress has always been fearful of being trapped in a nursing home.
