Prince Philip, 97, dies behind wheel & is brought back to life in DUI crash

The Duke Of Hazard!

DRUNK driver Prince Philip died behind the wheel of his armored Land Rover as it plowed into a car carrying two women and a nine-month-old baby — but miraculously came back to life as his SUV flipped over!

Queen Elizabeth’s 97- year-old husband blacked out from downing “several pints of beer” before his 4x4 careened through a busy intersection on Jan. 17 and triggered the tragedy, insiders tell GLOBE in a world exclusive.

“Doctors say Philip was essentially dead when he slammed into the other car,” near the royal family’s Sandringham estate, a high-level source tells GLOBE. “A previously undiagnosed heart condition apparently caused him to suddenly lose consciousness and stop breathing. Officially, he blames being blinded by the sun, but law enforcement officials say the Duke of Edinburgh reeked of beer, too.

“Somehow the force of the crash got him gasping for air again, and by the time witnesses dragged him from the vehicle through the sun roof, he was groggy but slowly able to communicate.
