Born in Germany in Bad Friedrichshall, Mathumitha Ragunathan lived in the small city of Gundelsheim. After finishing high school she completed her fashion design course from Australia. Here she also did her fashion design internship at a designer firm called Aje Sydney. She came back to Germany and then completed a course in international Business Information System at the Frankfurt University of Applied Science. Mathumitha shares more on her interesting journey
How did modelling happen?
It started in 2010 when I started with my fashion design. I was presenting my collection on the runway and a photographer just saw me and said you should model. So I went to a modelling agency and did a few advertisements and then through Instagram I got jobs. I was so passionate about it. So since then, I have been modelling.
What's the outlook of fashion in India compared to Germany?
In Germany, you mostly wear westernised trendy clothes and in India, you can see Western and traditional clothes and you have more options of varieties of fashion.
