IT’S THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA for the Titans. The show’s season two finale culminated in the young superheroes defeating the mercenary Deathstroke and breaking Cadmus’s mental hold over Conner/Superboy. Those victories, however, have cost them dearly.
Jason Todd/Robin abandoned the team, and Donna Troy/Wonder Girl perished saving lives. When the dust settled, Rachel/Raven left to accompany Donna’s body back to Themyscira, and the Titans – now consisting of Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Hank/Hawk, Dawn/ Dove, Kory/Starfire, Garfield/Beast Boy and Conner – seemed more committed than ever to waging a war against evil.
But a trip to the seedy streets of Gotham City and an unexpected family reunion in the third season may permanently tear them apart… both personally and professionally.
“Many dark Titans secrets died in Gotham, especially for Bruce, Dick, Jason, Batman, Nightwing and Red Hood,” showrunner Greg Walker tells SFX. “It was the natural place to go to really bring the Titans to a new level of testing, in terms of, ‘Can they remain a family, and can they remain true to who they believe they are?’”
As Titans returns, the show will initially steer towards the Bat-Family. The season opens with the group in San Francisco, the heroes having licked their wounds and moved on. After grieving over Donna’s death, they’re now functioning as a cohesive unit.

Making Alien - Jaws in Space - Forty-five years on from its original release, Alien continues to terrify. We dissect what arguably remains the most chilling instalment in the saga
The seven-strong crew of the commercial mining spacecraft the Nostromo seal their fate after reluctantly responding to a mysterious distress signal on a hostile planet. Here, a face-hugging alien from a derelict ship impregnates and later kills executive officer Kane (John Hurt) after its offspring is birthed onboard. After being unleashed, the fearsome newborn with acid for blood proceeds to dispatch the remainder of the crew.Ridley Scott's much more convoluted prequels have yet to reveal how the knowledge that led to this initial interception was acquired. However, the premise of the original Alien is perfect in its uncomplicated purity.
