Kevin Bacon is the object of obsession in a new amazon Prime Video comedy.
After last year’s successful pilot, the cheekily titled comedy I Love Dick returns to Amazon Prime Video this week for a full series.
As the latest project from award-winningTransparent creator Jill Soloway, the series pulls no punches. It’s based on a 1997 feminist fictional memoir following a struggling filmmaker, Chris (Kathryn Hahn), and her academic husband Sylvère (Griffin Dunne) after they move from New York City to Marfa, Texas, and both become infatuated with charismatic artist, professor and part-time cowboy Dick, played by Kevin Bacon.
