Dexter star Michael c Hall plays a troubled father in a gripping new thriller
After making his name as a vigilante serial killer in Dexter and a repressed undertaker in Six Feet Under, Michael C Hall is used to dealing with skeletons in the closet – and this week the 47-year-old actor faces a whole host of new secrets in his first UK-set TV drama, Safe.
The eight-part series, created by crime writer Harlan Coben and penned by BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst, sees the American play English paediatric surgeon Tom Delaney, a widower who lives in an exclusive gated community with daughters Jenny (Amy JamesKelly) and Carrie (Isabelle Allen).
DISAPPEARANCE
Tom’s life is thrown into turmoil when 16-year-old Jenny goes missing, along with boyfriend Chris Chahal (Freddie Thorp), after attending a local party.
