There’s no question that Ray Donovan, a fixer for the rich, powerful and famous, is a tough guy. But life has been particularly hard recently for the enforcer, played by Liev Schreiber. He lost his beloved wife, Abby, to cancer two years ago and then relocated from LA to New York, where he attempted suicide.
MENDING FENCES
Now, as the seventh season of the gritty drama begins on Sky Atlantic this week, New Jersey-born Ray has decided to stay in the Big Apple to try to mend fences with his daughter, Bridget (Kerris Dorsey), and son, Conor (Devon Bagby).
The taciturn Ray, who will happily solve problems with his fists but is unwilling to talk about his feelings, also tries to exorcise his demons by having therapy sessions with Dr. Arthur Amiot (Alan Alda).
