NEW ENTERTAINMENT
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK
From Thursday 14 January, from 7pm, BBC3 Online
Elizabeth Hurley makes a rare TV appearance this week when she joins RuPaul in the search for Britain’s next drag superstar on Drag Race UK, as a batch of new contestants vie to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, The Vivienne.
The pair sit alongside regular judges Michelle Visage and Graham Norton as 12 more British drag queens all try to prove their ‘frock star’ credentials in the second series of the vibrant competition, with new episodes released weekly on BBC3 Online.
This time the hopefuls include Bimini Bon Boulash, Tayce, Cherry Valentine, Tia Kofi, Sister Sister and Ellie Diamond, with guest judges later in the series including Dawn French, Sheridan Smith and Lorraine Kelly.
The queens will also get tips from EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy and dancer Jay Revell, who join the show as special coaches for acting and choreography.
