A young londoner is forced to go undercover to fight terrorism in this topical new thriller
A carefree young man becomes an informant for a counterterrorism officer in BBC1’s new thriller, Informer.
Newcomer Nabhaan Rizwan plays Raza Shar, the informer of the title, a second-generation Pakistani who lives in London with his parents and younger brother. Raza has a good relationship with his family, has a job and is happy with his life until he’s arrested on a minor drugs charge.
Meanwhile, Gabe Waters, played by Paddy Considine, is part of a counter-terrorism unit looking into the movements of a terrorist mastermind called El Adoua, who’s just been killed in a drone attack.
