Actor Freddie Stabb is one of more than 630,000 disabled people across the country whose lives have been transformed by their Motability Scheme vehicle.

After studying drama at GCSE and A level, Freddie started work with a theatre company, and in her 26-year career, the versatile performer has appeared in the likes of Grange Hill, worked on Sir Mark Rylance’s Shakespeare project for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad and featured in Government campaigns.

‘There are wonderful initiatives taking place across the field of entertainment, creating a diverse workforce, which I am heavily involved in,’ explains Freddie.

But one of her proudest moments has been starring – and singing – in the current TV advert for the Motability Scheme, which has spent over 40 years providing affordable, reliable cars to those with disabilities.
