But The Red Sea Diving Resort, written and directed by Gideon Raff – the man behind Homeland – is a high-octane thriller based on an incredible true story.
Chris Evans, best known as Captain America and recently seen in box-office hit Avengers: Endgame, plays Ari Kidron, a real-life Israeli secret agent on a daring humanitarian mission.
In the 1980s, Ethiopia’s Jewish population were suffering at the hands of their own government, with many fleeing to Sudan. To save them from persecution, the Israeli government came up with an audacious plan to smuggle them out of the country.
