LIVE SNOOKER
From Saturday, BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, BBC Red Button & Eurosport 1 HD
The televised rounds of the UK Championship get underway on Saturday, with this year’s tournament moving from the York Barbican to the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes due to coronavirus restrictions.
Ronnie O’Sullivan – who plays his first-round game before the live coverage begins – will be among the favourites once again, having won a record seven UK titles, most recently in 2018.
O’Sullivan first won in 1993, at the age of 17, when he triumphed over Stephen Hendry, who recently announced his return to the snooker circuit at the age of 51 after being in retirement for eight years.
