Our survey reveals that Gino D’Acampo proved a hit with viewers when he made his debut as the new host of Family Fortunes last autumn, reviving the classic ITV game show after an 18-year hiatus.

As he returns to the studio for a second series this week, Italian chef Gino, 45, chats to TV Times all about it…

I think people like the carefree way I present the show… They like that I don’t really understand the questions that I’m asking most of the time and can’t spell certain words. ITV kept its promise to let me do and say whatever I wanted, and, thankfully, it worked. I love doing this show.
