THE VOICE UK NEW SATURDAY / ITV / 8.45 PM / ENTERTAINMENT
Back in March, after some amazing Blind Auditions, exciting Battle Rounds, and tense Knockouts, The Voice UK coaches had each just chosen their favorite two acts for the live semi-final when the coronavirus pandemic put the ITV series on hold.
So fans will be excited that the contest resumes this week, with host Emma Willis presiding over a pre-recorded episode, which takes place in front of a virtual audience.
Coaches Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am will be back in those big red chairs. But, due to travel restrictions, American singer Meghan Trainor will instead appear on the show from Los Angeles – superimposed onto her seat!
Singing their hearts out for Team Tom are Jonny Brooks and Lois Moodie, while representing Team Will are Gevanni Hutton, Lucy Calcines, and public lifeline vote winner Doug Sure.
Competing for Team Meghan are Trinity-Leigh Cooper and Brooke Scullion, while Team Olly is compromised of Jordan Phillips and Blessing Chitapa.
