Now the biggest girl group in the world, Little Mix are proof that bands formed on TV talent shows can enjoy huge success.
Over the last three weeks, The X Factor 2011 champions have been busy putting together six brand new bands in BBC1’s Little Mix: The Search. And this Saturday, the competition really heats up as the groups begin to battle it out for the chance to support the quartet on their 2021 UK tour.
Comedian and Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestant Chris Ramsey hosts these three prerecorded shows as Little Mix stars Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock decide who will progress to the live final in November when viewers can vote for the winner.
Here, Chris, 34, chats to TV Times about what to expect – plus reveals his childhood boy-band ambitions…
