They’ve been huge movie stars since the 1990s, but surprisingly, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant have never worked together.

However, that all changes this week as they join forces for Sky Atlantic’s The Undoing, a six-part thriller about a New York couple torn apart by betrayal and murder.

Based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s bestselling novel You Should Have Known, the series sees Nicole reunite with David E Kelley (creator of Emmy-winning US drama Big Little Lies) to play Grace Fraser, who leads a picture-perfect life. She has a successful career as a therapist, has a doting husband in child oncologist Jonathan (Hugh), and is mum to talented 12-year-old Henry (The Night Manager’s Noah Jupe).

But her world comes crashing down when a grisly murder puts the family in the public spotlight, Jonathan goes missing, and a string of revelations make Grace realise she’s been living a lie.
