He may be a scheming love rat who keeps his brains in his trousers, but Max Branning has a certain je ne sais quoi that drives women wild. New ‘wife’ Rainie is the latest Walford resident to fall for his charms, and when she realises she’s got competition, she decides to tell him how she feels.

At the start of the week, Rainie’s under the illusion that Max fancies her, too, having recently seen him get rather narky when she bonded with a customer at the car lot. To give him a nudge in the right direction, she starts flirting with him.
