It’s D-Day for Whitney Dean as her murder trial draws to a close, and when her QC has food poisoning on the day of the closing statements, there’s only one man who can fill the breach – Gray.

But does the struggling solicitor have what it takes to save her from a life sentence for killing Leo King? And if he does, will the flip side be that his knight-in-shining-armour act makes it easier for him to evade justice for killing Chantelle?

Sonia is worried about her niece’s state of mind and, at the start of the week, she has a word with Gray, who then urges Whit to be honest when she speaks to the jury for the final time.
