Following a proposal that wasn’t a proposal, Liv and Vinny have decided to take the plunge and get married. But there’s no OTT Dingle do for these two, who have opted to ditch the Dales and get hitched in secret.

And where, we hear you cry, have they chosen to make this life-changing commitment? Vegas? Gay Paris? Gretna Green?

Nope, they’ve picked Daventry in Northamptonshire. Rock on!

You can hardly blame the youngsters for wanting to do things on the quiet. One sniff of a wedding and Mandy would be down the cash and carry, bulk-buying sequins and glitter.
